Fortification (spirit addition)
Details: This calculator works in the same way as a traditional Pearson's square. It is used to give the volume of spirit (of known alcohol content) to add to a volume of wine wine (of known alcohol content), to bring it to a desired alcohol content.
This calculator is simple, the calculation is exactly the same as a traditional Pearson's square. The following is the formula used:
spirit_to_add = vol_of_wine / ( ( spirit_alc_concentration - desired_alc_concentration ) / ( desired_alc_concentration - current_alc_concentration ) )
